Tagliatelle agli Agrumi ed Acciughe
Tagliatelle Orange and Lemon flavour with Anchovies and Bread Crumble


Ingredient for 2 people:

  •  180 gr Tagliatelle or Bucatini
  • 4-5  Anchovies  in oil
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Parsley, Roughly Chopped
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 1orange
  •  1/2 lemon 
  • 3/4 cup of cream
  •  1 teaspoon of butter 



  • First of all, plunge the pasta into a pot of boiling salted water.

    Pour the olive oil (1tbsp) into the frying pan, add the garlic cloves and let them brown, then add the anchovies,the cream and cook them over low heat until dissolved. In an another pan put the butter add a handful of parsley, half orange peeled and in pieces, the juice of the other half orange and s ome drops of lemon, stir and  let it flavour for a couple of minutes then add the anchovies sauce and leave on gas until became creamy, turn off the heat.

Cook the pasta "al dente" , drain spaghetti and transfer them to the pan. Let the pasta absorbs the flavour of the sauce and add some breadcrumbs, drizzle with olive oil then sautè. If the pasta is too dry add a spoon of cooking pasta  water. Turn the heat off and transfer the pasta to a serving dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, drizzle with olive oil , black pepper and some grated Parmesan cheese and serve. Buon appetite!
