At La Sosta Restaurant, we offer an intimate 20-seater dining experience in our family run establishment. Shaped by the seasons and ingredients of our region. Our evening is centred around a carefully curated set menu with wine pairing included, designed to be enjoyed as a complete experience. Before booking, please take a moment to read through the important information below.

General information

• We serve an every changing seasonal set menu priced at R1650 per person.

• Wine pairing is included as part of the menu — we do not offer a food-only option, as the menu is crafted to be enjoyed with both food and wine together.

• We are only able to accommodate pescatarian and vegetarian dietary requirements.

• These requests must be communicated at least one week in advance, as our menu changes weekly and ingredients are ordered accordingly.

• Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to the menu on the evening of your reservation or within 7 days of the booking date.

Reservations and Deposits

• All reservations are made exclusively through our website.

• A 50% deposit (R825 per person) is required at the time of booking.

• Once your deposit is paid, you will automatically receive an email confirmation — this email is your official booking confirmation. Without it, your reservation is not secured.

• The remaining balance, along with a mandatory 12% service charge and any additional expenses, will be settled at the end of your meal.

• We welcome guests from 18:00, with final arrival by 18:15 for a 18:30 start.

• As our menu is served in a set progression, arriving late may result in missing one or more courses.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations 48 hours or more before your reservation qualify for a full refund of the deposit.

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking are non-refundable.

• In the event of a no-show, the full deposit is forfeited.

Group Reservations & Special Occasions

• For groups of 6 or more, please contact us directly as additional conditions may apply.

• Any special requests — including celebrations or private venue hire — must be arranged in advance.
